POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing basic Test cases for newly developed or customized functionality. This position is also responsible for Defect Fix Verification, executing Functional tests, Regression tests, and Manual Smoke tests. POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will involve the creation of a customized taxonomy for a client's financial statements, footnotes, and financial statement schedules using the US GAAP Taxonomy (UGT) developed by XBRL US, the national consortium for XML business reporting standards, and now maintained by the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). The client's customized taxonomy is developed with standard elements that have been identified from the UGT as well as with customized extension elements to facilitate the creation of an XBRL instance document. This role also includes providing technical support to clients in a timely manner to resolve mapping issues and/or validation issues in the EDGARizerX software.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create customized taxonomy documents using a client's recent filing with the SEC (10-Q or 10-K) and / or customized mapping documents that have been developed using the UGT.
- Respond to client inquiries/phone calls in a timely manner to determine and resolve taxonomy issues for service filing customers and software customers with the applicable XBRL software.
- Use information provided by the SEC, in addition to whatever additional material is required, to understand evolving XBRL compliance requirements and the impact on validation built into the software.
- Identify and document issues found in software products.

- Post-Sales Client Support
- Provide Project Management oversight to data and solution implementations, assisting with set up & training, and providing 'Best Practices' recommendations as needed.
- Manage technical, filter product, and data file (DF) support activities in various territories as directed; liaising with Head of Technical Support Services with regard to best practise methodology and enhancement requests
- Perform liaison support activities to appropriate internal departments (e.g. client services, account management, sales, legal, research) and drive resolution timelines to meet/exceed client's expectations.
- Enhance Thomson Reuters reputation as a solution leader, embedding World-Check content and FCR solutions within clients' screening processes as a barrier to entry for competitors.
- Project Support
- Facilitate POCs (Proof of Concepts), Risk Audits, and outsourced scrubs, delivering high quality results within designated timeframes.
- Vendor (Channel) Support
- Provide technical support for 3rd party partners and resellers on DF integration, utilization, and issue resolution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
